Sam Mumford has been appointed A&R manager at Imagem Music UK.
Mumford, who founded the independent label Dirty Boots in 2006, started his career by hosting monthly new music nights in London showcasing early performances from acts as diverse as Mumford & Sons, Jessie J, Two Door Cinema Club, MGMT and Frightened Rabbit.
In 2010, Mumford started in A&R by scouting for Epic and Columbia Records, rising rapidly to the position of A&R manager for RCA Records.
