Music videos released on physical packaged media that might contain content unsuitable for children will soon be required to be submitted to the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) for certification.
The new measures will be introduced from October 1 to cover Blu-ray, DVD and CD formats - but will not apply to digital works, such as online videos or those supplied for download from digital service providers.
