Global Radio has lodged an appeal over a Competition Commission decision ordering it to sell off a number of stations in its takeover of GMG Radio.
The Commission previously told the UK's biggest commercial radio owner that it would have to divest stations in seven areas where there would be an ownership overlap between Global's existing radio assets and the Smooth or Real Radio brands it was buying.
