Belgium’s Tomorrowland was crowned the Best Major Festival at last night’s Festival Awards Europe 2012 in The Netherlands’ Groningen - where Live Nation’s Herman Schueremans also picked up his Lifetime Achievement Award.
Elsewhere, the award for Best Medium-Sized Festival was won by Hungary’s Heineken Balaton Sound and the Best Small Festival was awarded to Poland’s Tauron New Music Festival (which also received the gong in 2010).
