Facebook is planning an audio streaming service, beginning with the monetisation of music videos.
That's according to sources who claim that the first steps in Facebook's music streaming plan will be to launch a system not unlike YouTube's Content ID, in order to pay royalties to rights-holders. The system will also help them take down user-uploaded videos, or place adverts on them for ad revenue.
