Europe’s best music festivals, artists and promoters of 2014 were honoured at the sixth annual European Festival Awards, which took place at Groningen’s De Oosterpoort in The Netherlands, on the opening night of Eurosonic Noorderslag.
The UK was well represented at the event, with Festival Republic’s Melvin Benn receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Glastonbury won Best Line-Up.
Arctic Monkeys scooped two awards for Best Headliner and Anthem Of The Year for their hit single R U Mine.
