Sony Music UK's VP of industry relations, Emma Pike, is leaving the major next month after six years.
Pike joined Sony in 2007, after spending three years as chief executive of British Music Rights, an influential lobby group for composers, songwriters, music publishers and collecting societies.
Prior to this, she worked in European affairs for global recorded music trade body the IFPI, and practiced as a lawyer in Italy and the UK.
