Deezer has partnered with home audio brand Sonos to launch a lossless streaming option titled Deezer Elite.

First available in the US from September 15, the service will then be rolled out globally and accessible exclusively through Sonos' system of smart speakers.

Users will be able to stream music to any room in their home in FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) files at a standard of 1,411 kbps or higher - said to be 5x the bit rate of other ...
