Deezer has appointed Dr. Hans-Holger Albrecht as its new chief executive officer and member of the board of directors, effective from February 1 2015.

The exec succeeds Axel Dauchez, who announced that he was leaving the company in April.

Albrecht joins from telecom and media group, Millicom, where he was president and CEO. Previously, he held the post of president and CEO of Modern Times Group.
