The International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) has welcomed the decision of the General Court of the European Union to uphold its appeal against the 2008 EU Commission decision in the so called 'CISAC Case'.
The organisation and its member societies have been cleared of coordinating to 'restrict competition' in relation to royalty collections, with the allegations rejected by the court.
