Tour production company Cato Music has launched a school for aspiring roadies and announced the opening of its first US office in Los Angeles.

Based in Wandsworth, the Cato Academy will provide courses in tour management, production management and training for backline technicians.

Five free scholarships per year will be awarded to those who can’t afford the course fees. The course was written five years ago and has been so far run out of a music school in Guildford.
