Caroline International signs Matthew Herbert
Electronic musician Matthew Herbert will be releasing his first dance record for nine years via Caroline International.
The Shakes is the follow-up to Scale, released in 2006. Herbert also works under the names Doctor Rockit, Wishmountain and The Matthew Herbert Big Band and was recently appointed as creative director of the newly revamped BBC Radiophonic Workshop. He is known for recording the sound of human bodily functions and the life cycle of a pig from birth to dinner plate.
