North London venue the Bull & Gate is to cease operating as a live music venue on May 4, 2013.
The building has been sold to the Youngs chain and will be closed for refurbishment. It is likely to reopen as a pub restaurant in the summer.
The 33-year-old Bull & Gate in Kentish Town was put up for sale for £2.7m by its owners late last year.
