Paloma Faith gave the most industry-focused acceptance speech at last night’s BRITs, name-checking no fewer than 10 executives that have helped her on her way to picking up the prize for Best British Female Solo Artist.
In a high-profile nod to Sony Music UK’s new boss, she called Jason Iley “my new superhero”, as well as thanking the duo that first signed her, Nick Raphael and Jo Charrington (now at Capitol UK), RCA's Colin Barlow, CAA’s Mike Greek, and others.
