BPI sends 50 millionth takedown request to Google
The BPI is the first organisation in the world to have sent 50 million takedown requests to Google in its continued battle to remove links to copyright-infringing websites from the search engine.
The music industry trade body crossed the threshold this morning (Friday, November 15), with the number of takedown requests it has sent currently standing at 50,013,109.
