BMG has almost doubled its singles market share in Germany to beat all major publisher rivals to the market's No.1 spot in the first half of 2014.
The rights management company took a 20.86% share of the country’s singles chart in the first six months of this year, according to new data from research company GfK Entertainment - enough to pip the likes of Sony/ATV, Universal Music Publishing and Warner/Chappell to the top spot.
