BlackBerry and Zimbalam partner to put unsigned artists on BlackBerry World Store

BlackBerry and independent artist distributor Zimbalam are partnering to offer unsigned musicians the ability to sell their music worldwide on the BlackBerry World online store.

To sign up, artists pay a distribution fee and create a Zimbalam account - they can then choose their release dates and the territories they want to sell their music in, earning 90% of their royalties from sales.  

The artist keeps their rights and the contract is non-exclusive.
