BBC Radio 1 to dramatically decrease coverage of live music events

The number of live music sessions broadcast on BBC Radio 1 is to dramatically reduce as part of the BBC Trust Music Radio Service review.

Released today, the BBC's governing body has issued a host of recommendations for changes to the output of Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, Radio 3, 6 Music and Asian Network.
