The new director general of the BBC has revealed plans to shake up the structure of the organisation over the next two years.
Speaking this morning at Broadcasting House in London, George Entwistle told staff that he wanted to sculpt a new BBC which was a truly cross-media company.
He said that the BBC "need to be ready to produce and create genuinely digital content for the first time", taking into account social recommendation online.
