Sony/ATV boss Marty Bandier has moved to reassure his songwriters after the publishing giant announced it had singed a direct deal with internet radio platform Pandora last week.
In a letter sent directly to Sony/ATV clients, Bandier said that the new deal (effective January 1, 2016) will result in "a significant increase in royalties" for the publisher's songwriters.
He also said that songwriters will receive 100% of the benefits reaped from the deal.
