Apple will pay Warner/Chappell songwriters 10% of ad revenues from its iRadio streaming service - a crucial upping of the rate that has seen both Warner Music Group's label and publishing divisions sign up to license the service.
That's according to the FT, which suggests the iPlayer service could be launched at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference on June 10 - if it can reach a deal with Sony Music and Sony/ATV.
