Apple has reportedly been in talks with major label executives to help convert music consumers back to a paid-for model.
The tech brand will do its part by launching its own streaming service later this year, without a free tier. Instead, the platform will offer an initial trial period, after which users will need to pay around $8 a month, reports re/code.
