Andy Johns, the veteran producer and engineer has died, aged 61.
The cause of death has yet to be reported, however, Johns was hospitalised last week with liver problems according to Billboard.
Born in Surrey and a student at the King's School in Gloucester, Johns began his career as a tape operator at London's Olympic Studios, helping Eddie Kramer on sessions for the Jimi Hendrix Experience's Axis Bold As Love.
