Amazon is reported to have cheaper music downloads prices 78% of the time, despite iTunes' market dominance.
Techspot reports figures from NPD Group data that suggests even though 63% of digital music sales go through choose iTunes, it is not always the cheaper option.
Over the space of four weeks, Techspot monitored prices at iTunes, Amazon and Google Play for Billboard and CMJ's Top 20 singles and albums and found that Amazon offered cheaper album prices on 77.5% of occasions.
