London based singer – songwriter, Amy Syed has just released a new single on the 25th of November 2016.
‘Lonely Love’, the follow up to the acclaimed debut and ‘Record Of The Day’, ‘You Go To My Head’, was co-written with Bruno Major and recorded in Wales over ther summer. Beautiful, spaced-out and uplifting, this is twenty-first century dream pop at it’s very best.
The track is available through all the major outlets and is accompanied by a stunning video, the first in a series that the singer is making with Polish experimental director Lukasz Pytlik.
A highly respected and established session and backing singer for several prominent acts over the last few years, it’s only recently that Syed has emerged to the front of the stage to play a handful of successful shows in and around London.
Influenced by diverse range of artists from Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald to Daft Punk, Robyn and Sebastian, Amy and her long-time collaborators Ali Thynne (MNEK, EKKAH) on drums and Royal Academy graduate Peter Lee on keyboards are now ready to share a very distinctive and unique sound to a larger and unsuspecting audience.
Currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to a new EP, the trio are set to announce live dates in the very near future.
