The BRIT Awards 2018 has today (January 26) confirmed Rita Ora as the latest performer to join the main show line-up on Wednesday February 21. Ora will join the previously announced performers, including Ed Sheeran, Rag'n'Bone Man, Jorja Smith, Stormzy, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and Foo Fighters.
Speaking about her confirmed performance, Ora said: “I am so honoured to be performing at The BRITs this year, as a British artist it has always been a dream of mine and I am beyond excited.”
There are already two confirmed winners for this year’s awards, with Jorja Smith claiming the 2018 BRIT Awards Critics’ Choice Award and Steve Mac picking up the BRIT Award for British Producer at The BRITs Are Coming nomination party earlier this year.
Dua Lipa is leading the pack with five nominations for next month’s BRIT Awards, while Ed Sheeran is up for four awards and J Hus and Rag’N’Bone Man each have three nods.
Dua Lipa’s tally makes her the most nominated female artist in a single year at the BRITs. The 2018 ceremony is staged at The O2 on February 21.
