The first wave of finalists have been announced for the Music Week Sync Awards, which returns for its fourth year this October. Because of the unprecedented number of entries for all of the categories this year, we will be revealing the shortlist in two parts. This will give the specially selected judges more time to watch all submitted entries and allow for careful consideration before deciding the winners.
The finalists for 12 of the 24 categories are below. The remaining nominees will be announced in early September after a series of judging days.
Music Week is delighted to be working with our Platinum Partner, Tape, on the Sync Awards this year, in addition to PRS For Music as our Event Partner. We are also working closely with the UK & European Guild of Music Supervisors as media partner.
The ceremony will take place on October 19 at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London, and will be hosted by BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Shaun Keaveny.
