Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter and Ariana Grande were the big winners at the MTV Video Music Awards at New York’s UBS Arena.
Gaga won four awards last night (September 7) including Artist Of The Year. It follows global success for the Mayhem album and the single Die With A Smile with Bruno Mars, which won Best Collaboration. Mars also won Song Of The Year alongside Rosé for Apt.
Ariana Grande took home three trophies, including the big award for Video Of The Year for Brighter Days Ahead.
Sabrina Carpenter also won three gongs, including Best Pop Artist. Meanwhile, Alex Warren won for Best New Artists.
It was a largely quiet night at the VMAs for UK talent, though Coldplay won Best Rock for All My Love and Charli XCX won Video For Good (Guess feat. Billie Eilish).
