The 16 categories for The Global Awards have been unveiled with a line-up that reflects its range of radio stations. The longlist has also been revealed for the awards, which range from classical music to grime.
Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Kasabian, Andrea Bocelli and Martin Garrix have already been confirmed to perform at the inaugural event at Hammersmith's Eventim Apollo on March 1.
The Global Awards brings together all Global’s radio stations, including Capital, Capital XTRA, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, Gold and LBC. The public and a panel of industry experts will get to vote for the winners.
