The 1975’s label boss and manager Jamie Oborne has told Music Week that their double BRITs win was a “victory for alternative music”.
As well as winning British Group and Mastercard British Album Of The Year, The 1975 played at the BRITs – a show otherwise dominated by pop acts such as Dua Lipa, Little Mix and Jess Glynne.
