The new three-day Scottish festival from T In The Park organisers DF Concerts will be called TRNSMT.
TRNSMT will be held on Glasgow Green from July 7-9. No line-up details have yet been announced but the festival's official website has launched here. Its partners are listed as pay-as-you-go energy supplier Utilita, coach travel company Big Green Coach and BBC Scotland.
Radiohead and Coldplay are among the rumoured headliners for the event, which comes as T In The Park takes a "break" for 2017.
T has experienced a turbulent couple of years since being forced to move from Balado, Kinross, to the grounds of Strathallan Castle in 2015.
Last year’s festival saw performances from acts including Stone Roses, Calvin Harris, Red Hot Chili Peppers, LCD Soundsystem, The Last Shadow Puppets, James Bay, Jess Glynne, Disclosure, Bastille and The 1975, but was marred by three drug-related deaths at the campsite.
