Currently based in Los Angeles-based, the Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter has produced successful albums for Ariana Grande (Yours Truly, My Everything, Dangerous Woman, Sweetener, and Thank U, Next), Nas (Life Is Good) and T.I. (Trouble Man, Paper Work, Dime Trap).
Brown’s credits also include tracks with Big Sean, DJ Khaled, Macy Grey, Fifth Harmony, Jhené Aiko, Ludacris, T-Pain, The Black Eyed Peas, and Meghan Trainor. Brown most recently topped the charts with Ariana Grande’s Thank you, Next and 7 Rings.
According to an official press release, under the agreement Brown will “sign and develop new artists to Champagne Therapy Music Group and work with UMG’s network of industry-leading labels to release, market and promote new music and artists.”
Speaking about the venture, Brown said: “Champagne Therapy Music Group is the next step for me to grow as a producer and entrepreneur. I’m excited to create a home for artists who share my creative vision and who are constantly working to impact culture around the world. I want to thank Sir Lucian Grainge and Naim McNair for this opportunity and their on-going support.”
