Ex-Beggars Group head of operations Kristian Davis-Downs has launched MonoKrome Music - a new music industry services company.
The new operation offers a wide range of services to help fledgling artists and music businesses establish themselves in the industry.
Among its array of services are manufacturing of vinyl and CDs, distribution of physical and digital music, sync and licensing deals, publishing, marketing advice, collection society set up and administration, royalty system build and digital health checks.
MonoKrome Music launches with partnerships in place with Proper Music, GZ Manufacturing, MPO Manufacturing and music images bank Exclusiph.
“We are a music industry service provider, not a label service provider,” MonoKrome director
Davis-Downs told Music Week.
“Labels do their things brilliantly, but there is a lot more in the industry today; more client bases that we are going to look towards helping.
We want to make things easier for people to understand and offer them that helping hand they need early on.”
