We are currently recruiting for a Copyright and Contracts Executive to join the Copyright team within our Products and Services department. One of the main responsibilities of this role is to advise the business on contractual and licensing matters, in order to minimise risks and to protect ABRSM and its assets. The job holder will deal with complex contractual and licensing matters and infringements arising within the company and, when required, liaise with ABRSM’s solicitors. There will also be the requirement to work as a flexible member of the team, carrying out all core Copyright work as required.
We are looking for someone who has solid experience of working in music publishing in copyright and licensing role(s), with particular emphasis on drafting contracts and licences. You will also ideally have a relevant legal qualification e.g. a law degree and legal practice course or paralegal experience.
