Spotify is launching new multimedia formats featuring enhanced playlists and vertical video.
The developments come to some of the biggest UK playlists, RapCaviar and Viva Latino, adding music, exclusive original content and music videos to the playlists.
Spotify aims for the new enhancements to allow “users to have a unique experience on the platform”, updating every Friday.
Spotlight, a new format, is being rolled out to add “visual layers” to podcasts, audiobooks, news, and other audio content,.
Spotify is also set to introduce content from partners including Buzzfeed News, Refinery29 and Crooked Media.
