Proper Music Group is set to sponsor the award for Best Independent Retailer at the Music Week Awards for a third time.
MD Drew Hill said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring the award. Without indie retailers, there wouldn’t be a record business. Their role in helping people discover music is as important now as it ever was and the current vinyl resurgence we’re all enjoying couldn’t have happened without them.
"With this in mind, it’s great to be able recognise the vital role they play.”
High-res audio specialist MQA, meanwhile, will be this year’s social media sponsor.
